I have owned this bike for about five years. I bought it in original police condition and changed a lot of the cosmetics but nothing in the motor or frame (except a complete valve job).
It runs extremely well. And goes like a rocket. It doesn't look like a police bike any longer. Except for maybe the footrests and huge comfortable seat.
For a bike this big, t is extremely user friendly and easy to ride. Back then, he police didn't mind using lots of fuel
in exchange for speed. And that's what they got. I can't say enough about the bullet proof 1000cc engine.
All four carbs are perfectly timed. I hate to sell it...but it's time to move on. I've got too many bikes. And this one needs to be ridden.
As you can see by the picts, t's very clean. Good brakes and transmission. New battery.
