1043cc. 136hp. 81lb/ft. 6-speeds. Gorgeous. Violently fast.
I purchased this Z1000 brand new, miles fresh from the crate, n June 2012 because it was the liter-bike with the lowest insurance rates from GEICO. Actually it was cheaper to insure than most 600cc sports bikes.
A few days after the purchase I strapped a bag on a passenger seat and spent four days carving up every curvy road from Deals Gap to Shady Valley. She did not disappoint in any way on that trip, or for the 15,288 total miles we have been together.
But after my wife got a Can-Am Spyder, decided that I really needed a more touring-oriented motorcycle. For my 37th birthday I treated myself to a '14 FJR 1300 ES and this poor Z1000 hasn't been ridden since except to move it. She deserves a better home. And my wife wants the spending money for... whatever it is she spends all my money on.
This Z1000 was purchased with a dealership maintenance plan whose final covered service was performed less than 50 miles ago. All maintenance records are available from Mountain Motorsports of Conyers and Lithia Springs. I also purchased a Kawasaki Good Times Protection Plan. This is a transferable, ero-deductible factory extended warranty that runs to 6/2017. Kawasaki also offers an additional 1 or 2 year extension if you need more peace-of-mind.
Bike is stock except for an SAE plug, couple of RAM mounts, nd an angled valve stem. The second angled valve stem is stored under the passenger seat waiting for the next tire change. Which should be done soon because the rear tire looks like it is good for maybe 100 miles before the cords start showing.
She is also due for a battery replacement. It holds enough charge to start a couple times but goes flat quickly if left off the charger. My fault for keeping it on a charger that was acting up. You buy the bike, 'll buy a new battery and install it.
Other than that she is pretty much perfect. Never crashed, one down, een dropped, r tipped over. Every other motorcycle I've owned I have dropped and / or crashed with two months of owning it, o clearly this Z1000 possesses great fortune and will bring you many years of happiness.
Clear title in hand. Bike is available for inspection most days at my home east of Atlanta. No test rides without cash in hand. Payment by CASH or CASHIERS CHECK from Chase Bank. If you need to trailer or ship the bike, will assist with getting the bike physically on to the trailer but all other arrangements are up to you.
