Kawasaki Kz 1000 ltd 1980

Up for auction is my brothers vintage muscle bike. He purchased this bike in 1982 from a Kawi dealer. It has 12000 original miles. Due to his health conditions changing over the years he got to ride it less every year. It has been in storage the last three years. Well he passed away recently and I am selling it to help pay for his funeral expenses. Please don't ask the reserve I feel it is fair and I am not giving the bike away.We pulled it out of storage put in a new interstate battery and some fresh fuel and she fired right up. The motor is strong but the carbs need rebuilt but it only runs good with the choke partially on. The fuel was drained when it was put in storage so the inside of the tank looks great. Minor rust spec here and there that's it.. The paint isn't factory and has some fade and scratches. The seat is cherry. It looks like it could use some fork seals. The aluminum needs a polish and detail. It has vintage four into one kerker header that has surface rust and some scrapes. I will help ship any way possible and can arrange delivery anywhere in California, rizona and Nevada. I hate to sell the bike but it needs to go to a vintage Kawi collector so it can be brought back to it's glory and enjoyed like my brother did. All lights work except left turn signal. It has a clear California title that he signed off before his death and is currently on a non op in California. I am willing to ship this bike worldwide if the buyer makes arrangements and I will assist with everything I can. Please keep in mind that pictures always make things look better. With that said the paint the paint needs work. I know I said this in the description but want to make it clear. The motor ran strong without any issues other then a slight rocker cover leak. But it will not run now without having messing with the choke. The carbs will need to be pulled and cleaned. Please look at the pics when bidding. I have 100 percent feedback for being an honest seller
