1972 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV
This bike has a clear title from Virginia. The white plastic tag on the steering head appears original. The numbers stamped on the frame have either been rubbed by the cables or messed with by some previous owner. The engine and frame numbers are so close I will let you decide.
The title says 14191A
The frame number is H2F-14191
The engine number is H2E-14189
Notice this bike has a lot of the OEM parts that usually got trashed- exhaust in very good condition, enter stand, urn signals. Unfortunately missing the airbox, ut those are available.
This survivor was a pretty nice bike when I got it last summer. It's been refreshed - new paint, ecals, eat cover and other minor parts. Carbs cleaned, ables lubed etc. Original exhaust looks remarkably good, nd the baffles are all there. I have replaced a few oil seals, etcock O-rings, arb bowl gaskets, ther rubber parts etc.
There are no leaks.
The engine has between 135 and 150 lbs compression. It started easily after it had been parked for a long time, nd I haven't ridden it.
The front tire is the original Dunlop F6! The rear is a 35 year old K391. The forks have some pitting and should probably be replaced. The chain oiler and tool kit are missing.
The original turn signals, heels and spokes all look very good. The paint on the frame, wingarm, tands looks great- no rust and no signs of rattle can touch up.
