Description

Hello and thank you for your interest in my auction. Unfortunately I have to relist it due to a person placing a fraudulent "buy it now" bid earlier this week.

I have decided to part with many of the toys I own which I rarely use. Among these items is my beloved 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan Drifter 800. I've flip flopped back and forth about selling it, ecausedoing so will hurt a bit. I evenlisted it for a brief time about six months ago, nd decided against selling it then. However I don't use it often at all and I have a couple of other bikes as well.I currently own three motorcycles and my wife is constantly reminding me that I only have one caboose, o there is no real reason to have three bikes. Alas......she has beaten me down. I'm going to get rid of all the extra toys we don't use.....so there go the Drifter, he jet ski that sits on the trailer forlorn, tc. ???? I know, know....I'm officially a wuss.

The bike is absolutely beautiful and has ridiculously low miles (as of this writing there are 1908.6) on it. It runs like a top and everything works on it exactly as it should. I do believe it is all original except for the freeway bars and wind screen which I just added over the past year. I also added a battery tender cord so that it can be plugged into a tender directly without removing the seat.
I have a set of saddlebag supports (these are new)and a used set of saddlebags bags that I will throw in as well. I do not have the saddlebag struts to mount the supports on, ut I'm sure you could probably find them if you look for them over time. I just never really got around to seeking them out and didn't go anywhere far enough to need to put the saddlebags on.
I have an owners manual and a shop manual which I will include with the auction as well.
I do have a motorcycle GPS mounted on it in a couple of the pictures. Please note that I will be removing the GPS and the mount prior to the purchaser picking up the bike.

I have hard time imagining someone finding a nicer Drifter anywhere. It really is that nice. If you are familiar with the Drifter, hen you are aware that you rarely see them running around. People ask about it all the time, ften mistaking it for an Indian.
You are welcome to make an appointment to come by and see the bike if you like prior to bidding. No joy riders though. Also, lease do not bother with any really low ball offers. I don't have to sell it.....it just makes sense to since I don't ride it much.
Title in hand.
Payment via cash only please. An immediate$200 deposit is due within 24 hoursfollowing the close of the auction. The balance will be due one week following the close of the auction in cash.
With regard to the fraudulent bid I received earlier this week....please only bid or make an offer if you plan to complete the transaction. Handling fraudulent bids is a time consuming process and between work and family demands I (like most of you folks out there) am always running short of time. I really appreciate your assistance on this particular front.
Please feel free to ask any questions which you may have. Thanks again for your interest in my auction.
