Let me start off by saying this is a restored bike that has survived 47 years. It has recently undertaken a full restoration using many OEM parts and someaftermarket parts from CHP ( Classic Honda Parts ) This is not a 100 point original OEM part restoration as many people would claimtheirs are. Many people use these same parts due to the unavailability of some of the hard to get or discontinued OEM parts. Instead it's a very tastefully done restoration and the bike is now in near perfectcondition. This 1969 Honda CT70 Silver Tag KO model is sought after by both collectors and fans a like. This early production bike still has some of the rare features only indicative to the Silver Tag bikes. Some of these features include thefollowing. Black backed horn with screws, peedometer with high beam clot, rame with wiring hole in rear, lack plastic levers, lat rear brake stay and one piece points cover.This bike was completely dissembled, rimed base coat, op coated, nd cleared in matching Honda Ruby Red color.New decals, ide badges along with the chrome stripon the frame were then added. The seat hinge and tank cover were painted gloss black. Battery box, any of the #8 bolts and all bare metal parts were re-zinced. New CHP replica seat, arb, ear shocks, andle bar, ables, nbsp;black levers, nbsp;enginecradle, ear brake pedal and hardware. New OEM fenders, rips, hrottle assembly andtaillightlens. New front fork extensions, ork guides, oots and slides. Foot peg and kick stand assembly were painted in semi gloss black and new springs, earings and pivot pins were added. Theengine was completely disassembled and cleaned. All parts were checked and warn parts replaced. New jug, iston, ings, ew aftermarket head and kick shaft. Complete new OEM exhaust, hain,wire harness, gnition that has two keys, attery and foot brake switch. Headlight high beam and speedo lights all work asintended . Theodometer currently reads 1832 miles and this might change by one or two. The bike has had approximently 50 miles run time on it since the restoration. The bike is street legal andcurrently registered in my name in the state of California so no DMVhassles.I do believe this bike will make any collector orenthusiastproud. This bike though near perfect does have some very minor flaws here and their one being a small paint chip on the steering stop and the other a small paint chip by the rear chain adjuster. Both these items are very small and hard to see, ut I feel it's best to point this out. Please inspect all the pictures I have provided and ask any questions you may have before bidding.
