1975 KAWASAKI Z1 900 Z1B RETRO VINTAGE TIME CAPSULE

I am selling my Black 1975 Kawasaki Z1-B Z1 900. I purchased this Z1 from the second owner who had it stored in a garage for many years but never got around to using it. The bike was customized by the original owner back in the mid to late 1970’s and it is a really cool looking example. Lots of period chrome and accessories. Please READ the entire ad before bidding.

BODY: The paint on this bike is obviously not original or museum quality but it is in excellent condition and has a great look. Perhaps it was painted to mimic the famous 1978 Kawasaki Z1R-TC. A few blemishes on the gas tank but the inside of the tank has been sealed. The chrome is older and has some pitting on the engine cases but overall it still looks great. No cracks in the side covers or tail section, ail section still has the daily safety check label tray in it. Front fender is in great shape. The stock seat cover has a tear in it with tape covering the area. Custom handlebars. (Please inspect all pictures for condition)

ENGINE: All of the electrics work perfectly.The bike has a kerker 4 into 1 exhaust and still has the center stand. I got the bike to run for a few seconds BUT it will need a complete and thorough service to be in running condition again. This bike has been sitting for a long time. I do not have any of the stock parts for the bike, hat you see is what you get. The bike shows 29,991 miles.

FRAME: The fame neck on this bike is stamped “Made in Japan” and there is NO FRAME VIN. I did some research and found out that this is a replacement frame from Kawasaki. I have no idea why the frame was replaced. The bike is solid and straight. The Mass Title VIN number matches the Engine VIN number on the bike, gain after researching I found out this is common with replacement frames.

The bike is 41 years old if you are reading this I am sure that you are familiar with these old bikes. The bike is and has been enthusiast owned. I am sure that the new owner will enjoy it.

This Bike must be picked up from Raymond NH 03077. I would like it picked up within 2 weeks. I have no problems with meeting a shipper but the buyer must set that up. NO PAYPAL accepted. If shipping the bike you can send a check and the bike can be picked up after payment has cleared. Or payment can be made in cash upon pickup.
