1984 KAWASAKI GPZ1100 ZX1100

Description

This a very nice original condition GPZ1100. It has just under 3000 miles and original paint. The Fuel Injection system has been removed and replaced with new Mikuni 36mm flat slide smoothbore carbs. Bridgestone S11Tires are new, ess than 10 miles on them.

The bike was last licensed in 1987 in Southern CA. It has been in storage since then. Tires were replaced because they were dry rotted, lthough they did have the rubber nubs still showing. Valve clearances check out right in the middle of the spec. Cams are still in the black from the factory and have not yet been burnished bright by the buckets.

Engine and trans are very tight, o noises or smoke at all. The chain and sprockets have been replaced with JT Product 530 equivalents. (X-ring chain) Bike starts immediately and runs excellent. The rear shock has been upgraded form the factory air shock to a ZX7 coil over unit. Coils are Dynatek green coils with new wires.

Very quick bike, awasaki did all the trick stuff to the cam timing / lift and head flow to make these motors run good. It has an exceptional sound to it, ery healthy. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
