Description

After 9 years and 5 Drifter 1500's, t's time to move on to something else, o I am selling off all my Drifter stuff including this J-Model with only 5,189 miles.
Runs great, attery is less than a year old, hifts great, ots of power, ood braking (pads have a years worth of riding left in them. Starts right up and never have to choke it even on those 30 degree days when I have a PGR mission to go on. MPG is awesome...around 40. Always use 93 High Octane Gas. Changed oil and filter 800 miles ago. No leaks of any kind. Turning key in gas cap is a little rough. All lights work and passes any state Inspections.
This was a Houston, X bike til last summer when I bought it with only 2,400 miles on her. All 4 factory turn signals were broke off and owner said vandals did it....I did not believe him. So I added these aftermarket ones and had plans to customize the entire Drifter, ut plans have changed and moving on to a Victory Dresser. I did remove the right side tank emblem and never got to the left one, ut still have emblem. The fuel gauge also has not worked since I bought her. A friend said he had the same problem with his low miles 1500 and it was just a Sensor.
I did put in a super bright white halogen headlight bulb which I am not thrilled with, ut have the factory one to go with Drifter.
The shield is an old OEM....not sure if it's a Fire and Steel one. I know they are no longer made and well sought after and use to retail for $400.
Kawasaki Part# K46001-023
Now the Pipes sound incredibly Awesome. Yes, hey are a good throaty loud and i keep getting offers on just these pipes. They are no longer made. They are the SAMSON Warlord Series......Shogun Rip Saws.
I did remove the rear spoke wheel and installed a 2000 Nomad 1500 Mag wheel in like new condition. It is tubeless and looks great.
Also installed 2 new tires and front tube 350 miles ago. I did put on the SHINKO Heavy Duty 777 tires and have used them before. They grip the road good, specially in the rain and never had cupping issues. I live in the Smoky mtns where most of the roads have lots of curves and I give these tires an A+++ Rating.
I am also including a brand new Black Powder Coated Crash bar and hardware to install it.
Will throw in 2 new Chrome Adjustable Hand Levers.
Also a must have...the original Jack Adapter. It installs to the bottom side of the frame, hen slip your jack under it and jack up your Drifter or Nomad or Classic or Mean Streak without worry about spacer blocks slipping out and jack causing damage to your motor. Very good tool to have in the garage.
I am also throwing in a factory Drilled Front Rotor of a Classic. They are a life saver for better stopping, specially in wet conditions. Just remove your factory rotor & install this one. That simple.
The low miles on a 1999 is unheard of. Please take her off my hands.
Ask any questions you might have.
Thank You
