1978 Kawasaki z1r tc

This is 1 of 250 original z1r tcs. Ibought this bike 6 or 7 years ago with the intension of restoring, ut don't have the money or time to start.Its a matching #s bike and very early production , frame # kztood000691 and engine # kzt000e000733.The bike has been started every year and kicked over often and the engine did not smoke and sounded strong and wastest ridden when I purchased itand the transmission shifted fine. The bike was kept in a shed prior to purchasing it so as you can see there is some rust. I was told it had a built motor but I am not sure what size the engine was my intent was to bring this bike back to stock condition. It does havehigh performance coils, lectronic ignition, teeringstabilizer and a lock hart oil cooler . It is missing the right side seat rail strip.The new parts pictured are included in the sale which are seat cover and strap, orrect boost gauge and bracket, ew side cover emblems and new old stock side covers left side does have a couple of light scratches and nos dash panel and I also have the original zenith carb as there is a high performance carb on the bike now. The tank has a light ding on the left side pictured, nside of the tank is clean and there is a little scuff on the front right fairing. The fuel pump and fuel dial were no good so I just removed them from the bike. There is no tool kit or owners manual. This is a very early bike and a rare find!

Like I said this is a restoration project so it will need the usual service from long term storage.

The bike has a clear Mass. title and the bike is being sold as is.
