Description

2015 Kawasaki Ninja H2R - STREET LEGAL!

The only brand new, treet legal H2R for sale ever! This is a low, ow, ow VIN 2015 Kawasaki H2R. It has never been ridden. The odometer shows 1.4 miles. Kawasaki dyno's every 10th bike at the factory. This is the 10th H2R made and was dyno'd as such. Included in the sale is a hi-res copy of the MSO that shows the results of that dyno run - 326 HP (J.I.S) / 321.1 HP (S.A.E).

This is as rare and exclusive as it gets and if you decide to start a YouTube channel of your exploits, ou'll probably have a very large viewership with little effort.

All of the factory 'extras' are included; rare, arly front and rear stands, nmolested gift box, wners manual, xtra key, et of Bridgestone slicks, factory oil filters, new Dr. Beasley's kit and a second new bottle of detailing spray, hicken Hawk tire warmers, oxes for street conversion parts, ssembly manual, E battery, ift straps and concierge service number.

The bike is currently tagged, egistered and insured in my location and comes with a clean, nbranded, egistrable US street legal title - that said, ou are still responsible for jumping through whatever additional arbitrary inspection hoops your state requires. There may be added steps to getting it reg'd in your area but the hard part is done. I make no guarantees as to your success wherever you are but I do not foresee any further compliance hurdles that cannot be overcome relatively easily.

For more detailed information on the conversion feel free to visit ninjah2 dot net in the 'active topics' section. There is a long write up there with many pictures. Here's the short version:

The conversion rules were this;

The conversion had to be 100% non-destructive. In 20 years if somebody wants it to be back to original, wanted to make sure that it could be done simply with no sign it had ever been converted.

The added bits had to use the factory momentary contact controls with no additional switches (this was a fiasco) and use H2 parts wherever possible.

I wanted to retain the H2R look as closely as possible without it appearing to have been converted. When the headlight goes off, t needs to look like a regular H2R that just rolled off the track.

Parts added;

Yoshimura under tail

Front and rear turn signals

DOT Pirelli Supercorsa SC's soft front, edium rear (they're basically slicks with just enough tread to be legal). These are currently considered to be the best tires in the world.

Xpel Ultimate wrapped the leg/zipper areas of the tank.

Custom wiring harness with custom controller setup, E color coded wiring, E connectors and dash indicator integrated with the factory harness. I even made sure I was using the same wire wrap as the factory with the proper heat rating. All of the nuts and bolts are Kawasaki. An in/lb torque wrench and factory specs were used when tightening all fasteners.

Factory H2 fans

Factory H2 horn

Custom 3D printed headlight mount and fully adjustable headlight with off/on/hi functionality as well as 10-100% brightness adjustment (currently set at off/60/100). The headlight is mounted so that it does not interfere with the front stand.

Bar end mirrors with custom 3D printed rubber spacers and end cover caps

Lightweight Lithium battery (even with the 4lbs of added components there is still a 5 pound total savings over the OE lead-acid battery)

It's also been meticulously, bsessive compulsively detailed complete with 3 coats of Xymol Concours.

The only three things that might be an issue where you are are;

A) The exhaust. Maintaining the stock appearance was the entire goal of the build. Exhausts are also a highly subjective thing. A take-off stock H2 exhaust can be had for peanuts if you want to go that route. Akro also has a few nice 'street legal' options. I have no idea which way a potential buyer would want to go and let's be honest, he exhaust is the easy part that everyone does anyway so it hardly requires me to interfere or waste the money.

B) The green turn signals. I built this for myself and it was my personal preference. They're so easy to replace a baby could do it so if you want/need amber I can either swap them out for you or make you the parts to do it yourself at a later date.

C) The headlight mount is 3D printed out of carbon fiber. Depending on how much you plan to ride the bike it may or may not last forever. I will print you out a spare and supply a rubber coated steel version (it's currently being fabricated) you can replace it with in the future should the printed part eventually decide it doesn't like repeated trips to 220mph. :)

Last caveat; when I had the Pirelli Supercorsas installed at Kennedy's Sport Cycle in Elyria, hio (at the specific recommendation of Kawasaki). Their mechanic scratched the wheels by using the improper tools for the job. I am in the process of suing them for a replacement set and should the outcome be in my favor - the wheels are yours. Maybe it won't bother you as much as it does me. It certainly removes the added pressure next time you change the tires.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ; I built this bike for myself and had no intention of selling it. After months of research, couring schematics, emplate building, ngineering, AD design, roblem solving, upplier sourcing, ate nights, D printing etc - it kinda became a zen winter endeavor. I've built many high profile projects but this one wormed it's way into my heart in a way I cannot explain and I was sad to see it end. I honestly wouldn't mind doing another one just for fun and that is the ONLY reason I'm listing it now. I'm not having a fire sale, don't need the money, definitely won't be able to buy another one with a VIN this low (and I'll probably play heck finding another one to replace it).

To protect your investment I will NOT sell conversion parts to anyone. I will not help anyone convert another bike. I will make another one for myself but that is it. I will agree to help you with any future needs or questions should you require parts or want to make any changes.

FOR SALE LOCALLY SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE LISTING EARLY.

(Sorry about the relist - eBay's tools are a mess and the only way to not sell to Micronesia and Guam was to take the ad down and start over. Seriously. 25 years in business and it's worse now than when they started. Ugh. Anyway, y apologies.)
