1978 Kawasaki KZ 1000 LTD Motorcycle

This is a Classic 1978 Kawasaki KZ 1000 LTD Super bike. Everything is original with 8,843 original miles. The Bike was stored in a Utah low humidity garage from 1984 until 2015. I acquired it from a neighbor who passed away.It still has the original tires ( no cracks). It has a new battery, ew oil and filters, lushed brake system, o leaks and cleaned fuel system. Everything works and it has passed safety inspection.It starts right up and runs strong. Compression is good on all cylinders. It may need a little carb adjustment or cleaning as it does give some popping after-fire in the left pipe on deceleration.Defects; There is minor surface rust and scrapes on the bottom of the pipes and a few scrapes on the crash bars. The seat has some cracking on the seam in the middle. The Tank has a couple of small nicks or chips. The side covers have some minor scratches. The speedometer and Tach have some minor dents in the rim.The Bike has a clear title and is registered and licensed in Utah. I put about 100 miles on it just riding around my area. I had thought about keeping it but its just to fast and heavy for my age.Buyer would be responsible for shipping cost and arrangements. Self pickup would be great.Feel free to ask questions.

Note. This Bike was made in Dec. 1978 and I registered it as a 1978. The original Title was lost so I got a new title.I'm told it is actually a 1979 model.
