Kawasaki KZ440 Street Scrambler Motorcycle

Rare, lmost Mint 1981 KZ440 with 3,322 ORIGINAL miles! Never crashed or dropped.
I made this into a "Scrambler" to ride on both paved and dirt roads in the Berkshires, nd it's fantastic! This means I put on brand new dual-sport tires, ightened the springs, nd added a front enduro plastic fender. Everything else is Classic OEM! For you purists, 'm including the original chrome front fender (in excellent condition). The paint is gorgeous (gold pin-striping too).
It also comes with a full-coverage windscreen, ear luggage rack, nd backrest, ll in excellent condition. The seat is perfect (no tears or holes). The chrome exhaust is also excellent. See the photos! Overall, would rate this bike a 9.5/10. I just had the carbs cleaned and dialed, nd the bike runs like a champ. Compression is great in both cylinders. New battery last year.
This is a fun bike. The left rear turn signal has a slightly bent spacer so it droops about 1/2", ut could easily be straightened. I was going to put on a matching rear plastic fender and dual-sport turn signals to complete the "Scrambler" look, ut a friend is bugging me to join him on some single track woods riding, nd I need a dirt-bike to do that. This Kawi eats up dirt roads and fields, ut is not a moto-crosser! All the electrics work, nd the bike has a current VT registration but no title. BTW, ermont will let you register a bike even if you live out of state (I live in MA)- all you have to do is provide proof of VIN!
This Kawi is in really nice shape, ou will not be disappointed! You can come test ride the bike with a valid MC endorsement and a $1000 cash deposit (to cover my deductible in case you shit the bed!). Please don't low-ball or try to scam me. Cash on pick up is preferred, ut a personal check is ok, oo (you can pick up the bike when it clears). The bike is for sale locally, o I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells, eforehand.
