Kawasaki 900 LTD KZ900 KZ900B Lo miles totally original Early production

Wow. I have never seen a 1976 KZ900B more original than this one. I have compared it to pictures and info contained in the Micky Hess Z1 Black Book, nd the Z1 Restorers guide. And it is spot on !The low miles ( 9,364 ) and original Goodyear Eagle A / T raised white letter tires with DOT date stamp 505 which is likely to mean the 50th week of 1975 just go to show it's original right down to the rubber.It has the factory Muholland shocks and Jardine pipes. Both wheels are the correct Morris Mags, 9" front and 16" rear. It has the small (120mm) tank badge. It has the short stem mirrors clamped on to buckhorn handlebars.
I can't find anything that's been changed on this motorcycle. All the chrome parts are the correct chromed parts for the LTD that year.
Serial number 500651 means this was the 651st 900 LTD produced in the USA . Production date 4/76
We received this bike at our shop, hanged the oil, leaned ( but did not rebuild) the carbs and fired it up with our test battery. It ran well but will need more work to be ride ableand reliable.
We have a clear title for the motorcycle.
This motorcycle shows signs of being stored in a damp warehouse. All the chrome has small amounts of pitting, ll aluminum shows a small amount of oxidation. This bike would be an excellent choice to restore due to it's originality or ride with minimal amount of reconditioning .
