2012 Kawasaki EX250 Ninja 250R Track only bike - NO TITLE.

******* THIS BIKE HAS NO TITLE AND IS SOLD WITH BILL OF SALE ONLY. *******Relisted due to an unresponsive buyer. please do not buy this if you are not sure what you are getting into. This is a very low mileage 2012 Kawasaki EX250 Ninja that I purchased as a track bike about a year ago. I have ridden it at the track about 4 times since then. Mechanically it runs absolutely flawlessly but cosmetically it does not look very good. However who really cares at the track. The odometer/gauges on it are from another bike. The originals were sold before I could lay my hands on it. so bought it without it. The mileage at the time of the wreck was around 620. I replaced or repaired only the parts that I needed to to be able to ride at the track. It has stiffer springs in the forks also and some sticky Bridgestone Battlax BT003 tires that have a few track days left in them. The exhaust has been decored also and it has the airbox removed with an integrated K&N filter. Ready to ride and Priced to sell. The listing options limit choices for titles and I chose salvage. rebuild-able. reconstructed. HOWEVER THIS BIKE HAS NO TITLE AND IS SOLD WITH BILL OF SALE ONLY. Due to many questions I will clarify the situation with the title. I already attempted to get a title for it and the original owner has moved out of state and unwilling to cooperate. He stated it has an insurance junk/salvage title which he lost and is not willing to help to obtain a copy. QUESTIONS REGARDING THE TITLE: You could get a title yourself. but it involves a lengthy and expensive process with the North Carolina DMV which requires a Police department in person inspection and obtaining a bond insurance policy for the current value of the bike. You will  have to go to the DMV about 3 times in the process and it could take a few weeks to process. I estimated this will cost around $300 to complete but do not hold me to it. The bike will need turn signals and license plate light for an inspection. The headlights are taped over as well as the tail light. However I would not recommend you do this since this bike is sold as a track only back and completely as is. with no warranty implied or otherwise. It will not pass inspection as listed and I am not sure exactly what it would need to pass inspection. Local pickup only. Buyer arranges shipping.
