I bought this bike last December from Oxford Classic Honda (good dealer by the way) for £1000 to get me through the winter. I've now got 4 bikes in my garage and this is surplus to requirements at the moment. The bike has never let me down and has took me to work and back in all conditions. I've put a total of 5000 miles on her in 10 months. This bike would make a good winter hack if you just want something to jump on to do the miles. It's only had 3 owners before me and the bike is fine to ride away as it is. From what I can tell the bike has never been dropped and looks really nice with no cracks or major scratches anywhere. It has a 4 into 1 nexxus system in good shape and a black aftermarket screen. It's really good on petrol. I can ride over 100 miles for a tenner. The engine and gearbox is faultless. these are really tough bikes capable of massive mileages if looked after. The tyres were new when i bought the bike and have plenty of tread left. It's running Avon Roadriders front and back which hardly wear at all. although they don't provide much feedback in cold conditions. Basically i've just used the bike daily for almost a year. i'm not into tinkering so there are a few little jobs that need doing. The exhausts are blowing a bit from the gaskets and these need replacing. It doesn't affect the running of the bike at all mind. The bolt that keeps the horn in position fell out leaving the horn flapping about so i took it off. I have the horn. it just needs bolting back into position. I think the sidestand switch is faulty as occasionally the neutral light doesn't come on and sometimes the bike cuts out when the sidestand is lowered (as it should) and sometimes it doesn't. If the switch is sticking the bike doesn't start in neutral sometimes but always starts when you pull the clutch in as this overrides the switch. You can buy a switch on ebay for about a tenner. it's an easy fix. Finally. the bike has been stripped at some point in it's life and the plastics/instruments haven't been put back on as good as they could have been. It's never bothered me at all but the clocks start vibrating over 90mph which is when I chicken out. I've been as honest as possible with the description. I don't need the hassle of unhappy buyers and value my feedback. The bike was serviced when I bought it so is probably due another one. The only small job I did get done was a new rear wheel bearing which has improved the steering no end. The brakes could do with bleeding too. they stop you fine but need a decent pull on the lever. Overall a good looking. reliable workhorse. Reserve is set at £350. it's not worth me selling for anything less as it's eating no meat in the garage. Viewings are welcome. just contact me with your details. If you're new to ebay and have less than 10 feedback send me a message before bidding please. £100 through paypal within 24 hours and the balance on collection. I'm fine with bike couriers picking the bike up if you want it delivered after cleared payment has been receivedThanks for looking.
