Kawasaki KX250 1999 Fantastic Condition Many New Parts

Here we have my 1999 Kawasaki KX250 motocross bike. which is in fantastic condition and has had many new parts. It is ready to race. green lane or enduro. It wants for nothing and is a great machine.

To give you a brief history on it. I purchased it from Holeshot Motocross in Southampton and have the bill of sale for £1300. which was only a few months ago. I bought it with the intention of road registering it and going green laning. My circumstances have changed and it now sadly has to go. When I purchased it. I was told it was mint. but in my view it was not. It was perfectly useable. but I decided to get it as good as I could without doing a full strip down and rebuild. Starting from the back wheel. here is a list of what has been done since in my ownership.

New rear pads

New Apico rear sprocket

New Michelin AC10 rear tyre (road legal)

Silencer rebuilt

New silencer to downpipe rubber (genuine Kawasaki)

All new fuel lines. carb vent hoses and carb mounting clips (genuine Kawasaki)

New chain rollers

New swingarn chain guide

New gearshift lever

Mint condition clutch actuating arm and pushrod. with no wear at all.

New clutch cable

Brand new radiators

Front master cylinder rebuilt with genuine Kawasaki parts

Front pads

New Michelin AC10 front tyre (road legal)

All new stainless steel bolts for side panels. tank. mudgaurds etc.

Rear number plate mount fitted

Megahorn fitted

Basically it is now ready to take to your local MOT station and get a daytime MOT. should you wish. If not it can be used in anger on an MX track.

This is a great bike in fantastic condition and has had a LOT of money spent on it. The previous owner had the frame powder coated at some point and I think it has been fitted with a new / recon barrel. This is almost cetainly one of the best around and needs nothing. Obviously it is not perfect as it is a 15 year old MX bike. Any inspection is welcome and advised. Collection only from Bristol. I am 15 minutes off junction 18 on the M4 and 20 minutes from junction 14 on the M5.
