2005 KAWASAKI KLE 500 B1P 17600 miles

2005 KAWASAKI KLE 500 B1P Full years MOT. 7 months tax 17600 miles. I bought this bike in Jan' 2009 when it had only 950 genuine miles on it. it now has only 17600 miles. I have since used it all year round to get me to work and back. It has been 100% reliable. starts 1st time regardless of how long it has been stood. Everything works as it should. It has been maintained by me with regular oil. oil filter. plug changes etc. the bike is fully oil and water tight. Although utterly reliable the bike has superficial patches of corrosion on the frame. fork bottoms(stanchions perfect). engine casings. spokes etc. but this is only cosmetic due to the bike being used throughout several winters. I have tried to keep on top of this by painting the affected areas and it doesn't look too bad. The rear shock was changed about 3 years ago for one from a Kawasaki sports bike (can't remember which model) and works perfectly. The silencer was replaced about 18 months ago with a road legal stainless/alloy one from a KTM. this also works perfectly and has passed a couple of MOTs with it fitted. I lowered the suspension soon after buying it as it was a bit tall for me (I'm 5' 7") but it can easily be put back to standard as I have kept the original suspension links. I have fitted full stainless brake hoses and banjo bolts front and back. It has fully working Oxford heated grips. Tyres are OK. probably about 1500 miles left in the rear. and 2000 in the front. Petrol tank paint and all plastics are all excellent for the age. seat has no rips or holes. New recent battery. Has just sailed through an MOT with no advisories. The bike has a current V5c document and is registered in my name at the address it will be collected from. It is a UK bike with no dodgy finance or insurance history.
