kawasaki kxf 450 supermoto

Here  we have regrettably for sale my KXF 450 2008

I brought this about 3 £ years ago with the intension of putting it on the road and  it has not been ridden since then. apart from the occasional starting

Anyway it has now sat in the workshop for over 3 years doing nothing except getting in the way and absorbing money !

As I work overseas I have very little time to finish this off so it?ˆ™s up for sale or p/x for one that?ˆ™s road legal or anything interesting Quad buggy etc but must be road legal.

When I got this it was a low use motocross bike.

I decided to do a KXF450 as at the time it was the same type of bike my son was racing that season so parts and familarity with this model was easy

Since I have had this it had tappets set new clutch engine was removed and frame was highly polished

The supermoto conversion was then started

It has had all engine seals changed new front and rear wheel bearings new plastics and graphics and crash bobbins sliders etc etc

As you can see from the pictures this has brand new 320 mm front disc conversion and pads

Pirelli Dragon?ˆ™s MTRO1?ˆ™s 120x70x17 front 160x60x17 rear fitted 

Can?ˆ™t remember the maker of wheels but they black powder coated with blue rim tape and stainless steel spokes these were a fortune as you know

Pro circuit triple clamps. ASV unbreakable levers. Renthal fat bars. Vapour Speedo. with rev counter temp etc all wired and working.

Then the madness started while the engine was removed the cold starter was replaced

This meant fitting a replacement carburetor  as the old one had sized solid as the always do and we had spares on stock for this bike

While it was out every single part that Zeta make has been fitted to the engine in fact the bike. and if Zeta did not make one then someone else?ˆ™s was used new rear brake and gear levers

As I work in Arizona every time I was in the dirt bike shop I just kept buying must have been the heat!

As you can see from the pictures also all pipes replaced in BLUE on the engine including water lines in Blue silicone racing hoses

Every part on the bike has now been replaced with anodized parts as you can see fork bleeders. reservoir covers. front and rear cable clamps. front and rear. tank nut. head stock nut. filler cap. etc

See picture as to what is fitted this has had thousands spent to get looking I the way it dose this is a very speacial 1 off bike

I decided the other day to strip this down re commission it I drain the oil and fuel new plug filter oil and a good polish and shine and it started on the second kick

I have the all the paperwork to register this just not the time

This is in show condition as you can see no expense has been spared on the converting of this it is used but immaculate condition as it?ˆ™s my toy

You will notice in the pictures the chain is missing is when I was putting this all together yesterday I could not find this if I can?ˆ™t find this today I will fit a new O ring linked chain

This may have gone with my son?ˆ™s spares kit when his bike was sold as we got rid of a lot of stuff when he stopped racing

There is NO off road wheels with this bike

Will not send overseas
