1985 Kawasaki KZ 1000 P Police Cut Down Motorcycle Light Custom NO RESERVE

Here is a 1985 KZ 1000 P that has been cleaned up and cut down slightly from it's original version.  The bags. fairings. and rails were removed. along with the turn signals and about 50 pounds of wiring that went along with the police package.  I adjusted the valves. and replaced the OEM carburetors with some Mikuni's from a later model that was equipped with an accelerator pump.  It runs pretty nice.  It's still tall like the stock police bike. and still has the floorboard and the heel-toe shifter.  It runs and rides pretty well for a bike that's almost 30 years old now. but keep that in mind.  This isn't a brand-new bike.  It's an air-cooled. carbureted. classic liter bike.  You'll probably have to tinker with it more than a new bike. but that goes with the territory.  KZ's are a reliable robust platform with great parts availability. and good bang for your buck.  The paint on the tins is fresh. like maybe a month old.  It's got a relatively new battery. and runs and rides just fine.  The paint on the frame isn't perfect. but it's in pretty decent shape considering it's age.  (it's an Arizona bike. so our steel stays well preserved here)It's got a set of clubman bars on it. and kind of has that cafe-racer sort of stance to it. It still has the stock exhaust on it as well.
