Kawasaki ZZR 250 For sale (?ˆ?H?ˆ™ reg & ?ˆ?J?ˆ™reg + spares)

For Sale. my son?ˆ™s two Kawasaki ZZR 250?ˆ™s. The ?ˆ?J?ˆ™ registered was my son?ˆ™s first bike since passing his test. which he used to commute daily to and from work. It failed its MoT (Aug 2012) on rear shock absorber. rear brake pads along with a coincidental issue of excessive wear on the rockers. The bike was parked up and SORN with the intention to source suitable spares in order to return the bike back to running condition. as the cost of new shock absorber and rockers (shock approx. £350 and rockers approx. £25 each x8). At this point of MoT failure. a new chain and sprockets had just been fitted along with overhauling the front forks with new seals. The bike has the nice addition of a pair of Predator Motorsport stainless steel exhaust pipes (approx. £450 new) which also adds a lovely sound!

 

The second bike. ?ˆ?H?ˆ™ reg. was purchased for the spares early this year. It has had a failure in one piston. as it lost power and failed at the roadside. Its former owner mentioned it would still start and run roughly on the remaining cylinder. This bike would have provided more than enough spares. including some difficult to get spares for the coming years and it was the same colour. This bike also came with the extra spares shown which include engine & gearbox parts. side casings and a couple of fairings  with headlight. The headlight fairing was to replace the one on this bike. as the current one is split down the entire length of the RHS above the screw fixing?ˆ™s. This bike is also SORN.

 

Both bikes have a few age related scratches and surface corrosion. I have more pictures than the twelve shown. including hi-resolution copies of the pictures attached (6Mb each) which can be sent out by e-mail on request.

 

My son is now entering his last year of his degree and can?ˆ™t afford the time to complete this project as well as his degree and other ongoing project. so we are selling these on. I would rather sell them as a pair. but would consider splitting them if needed.
