1990 FORD ESCORT SPORT SILVER MK 4

Ford Escort Mk 4 Sport. Bought a few months ago as a project. started by fitting 5 new tyres Pirelli and 5 new alloy wheels. the were kept in my mates garage so got a few scuffs. The bonnet lip was rusting so that was replaces. as was the boot. which was leaking cause of the boot spoiler securing bolts. ive still got the spoiler. The interior is complete even for a 22 year old car. there?ˆ™s no radio in the car.  But there?ˆ™s a very very small burn in the driver seat. but you have to look very closely and the guy put some small speakers in the door cards. so they?ˆ™ll need replacing.  The previous owner had the engine rebuilt. is not running yet. there?ˆ™s no exhaust but the original manifold is present. The rear arches have been repaired but the front seat rear mounts need welding. I went to a scrap yard and got the original ford support bracket. so those and a small weld patch and the floor will be done. The drain plugs for the sun roof got blocked so they started to rust. only on the inside of the car. the panel that holds the carriage for the sunroof. there?ˆ™s no rust on the roof panel itself. I stated and wanted to continue the restoration. but I bought a house that needs more work than expected. so the car has to go. Any inspection welcome. but please contact me first as I work strange hours . If the car is not sold then it?ˆ™s off to the scrap yard.
