Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja
All I can say about this bike is that it needs to be ridden to be appreciated. it is stupidly "kwikasfuki" for a 600. I know everyone says that but it is. She handles lovely and is a pleasure to ride. not too bad on the old petrol too for a superbike!
Engine and gearbox are mint. no nasty rattles. bangs. leaks etc. Tyres. chain. sprocket. bearings. seals etc are good.
The exhaust can has been cut down so is now very loud! The front brake pads are a bit on the low side. could do with changing soon I would say.
Full service history - lots of stamps in the service book. the last one being when she was MOT'd this year so fully up to date. Genuine mileage of 34k. clocks were changed at 32k and now read just over 2k (this was put in the service book when they were changed).
Cosmetics wise it's not perfect. it has been painted black with a few graphics and some rim tape added. tinted double bubble visor. Swing arm could do with a touch of paint perhaps? Just a bit of general TLC if you are fussy - but it's not bad at all for the year. It may not be the best example of a ZX6 you have ever seen looks wise. but the performance more than makes up for it. (Saying that she does still get looks and I am personally very happy with her the way she is!) There are a fair few flies
I'm sure you will all agree it's better to have a healthy bike inside rather than one that looks the part but breaks down on the ride home! (this is definately the "healthy option") I really must stress again that this bike does need to be ridden to be appreciated. I have had a few 6's and this would obliterate them all! It's guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
I am only considering selling as not sure how much use I'll be getting out of her during the colder months. and the Mrs ain't too happy about it just "sitting" in the hallway (yes she sleeps in the house in the warm) - but if not offered good money she will stay where she is. whether the Mrs likes it or not! She is definitely worth every penny of what I am asking performance wise. I will be sad to see her go if she does sell. however I know her new owner will be more than happy and look after her like I have!
Now the boring part.
