kawasaki kz 1000 ltd

1979 kz 1000 ltd   good clean bike and going well moted. and ready to go . chrome work and paint in good condition . his is a U. S  import and has the factory oil cooler . &N filters. I also have the original air box . KERGER 4 into 1 exhaust . nbsp; and starts first kick on the kickstarter    . the starter also works . nly 80 mls since moted but will go up if the weather stays good . all in all a good bike .

BAD POINTS

clocks could do with new rubber mounts  (shake a bit  at high speeds))

needs a rev counter cable . rame has been touched up with a brush but not very noticeable but no rot

top of high and low beam  switch missing the black bit . ut still working

carbs could do with a retune  as lumpy on cold start up . ut clears when run for a few  seconds(just being fussy )

GOOD POINTS

disc have very little wear if any                                                 

foot rubbers are as new

tank is rust free

no oil leaks  or perished pipes good dry engine and still fit for 100mph +    

all original nuts and bolts 

  good original bike to restore to former glory or for every day use

  just serviced and new battery
