kawasaki Z900 A4

Relisted is my 76 Z900 A4. Probably one of the best in the country. the bike was brought to enjoy on good days by a lovely mature honest guy in Manchester 3 weeks ago for the asking price of £12. 00. 00. unfortunately after riding it for a few hundred miles he found it a little bit big and heavy for him and was frightened of dropping her. mainly because his garage is at the bottom of his garden and he has a ramp and a narrow shared side entry to contend with. so I agreed to buy her back at a slightly reduced cost (bearing in mind of a few hundred miles and another keeper). she won best Kawasaki in show at last years Stafford VJMC show & was pictured in the December 2013 magazine. trophy & mag go with the bike. she is absolutely beautiful with no defects. she was imported from Italy 20 years ago & a total restoration was carried out 2 winters ago using as many NOS parts as possible and very few repro parts. the speedometer was in KPH showing 46. 19. I managed to find a genuine speedo with just 1352 miles on it hence the mileage. also after months of searching I came across a genuine set of stamped 76 exhaust pipes (very rare) in superb condition and just had to have them regardless of the cost. the frame & engine numbers are correct. as are the swinging arm numbers & rear brake torque bar numbers. the wheels were rechromed & rebuilt using genuine zinc plated spokes & yellow nipples. the correct date coding can be clearly seen on the rims. the engine was completely rebuilt using all genuine Kawasaki parts. (cam chain. piston rings. oil seals etc and is still on standard bore. I could go on forever). the only incorrect items on this bike is the paint work is in Z1B colours. Z1 grips. chrome clock covers & drilled discs.
