Kawasaki KZ650 1979

Kawasaki Z650 1979.  Chassis and engine numbers are correct for the model and year. I bought this as a winter project a while ago. but I already know I wont get around to it. So rather than hang on to it forever I am going to sell it. It did start and run fine. I haven't had it running since i bought it as i haven't tried it. But it will be running before i sell itIts a USA KZ650 in surprisingly really good original condition. The chrome work on the mudguards is excellent and undamaged the exhausts are all original with only really minor  marks on them. All nuts. bolts and fasteners are original and to be honest its a really good starting point for a relatively easy restoration or just get back on the road. as the overall condition is really really good with no corrosion or rust anywhere. and all the cycle parts are in great original condition. I have already sourced an airbox (minus lid) to replace the pod filters and a brand new brake master cylinder as the mirror mount was broken. both come with the bike. It will need a L/H side panel as it was missing. photo is of the right one just to show i have it. as i took photos without it on!There is a couple of damaged barrel fins (see photos) which i have researched and can be repaired or you can fit the spare set of barrels I bought to replace the broken finned one instead. also come with the bike. also minor damage to cylinder head fins (see photos) i believe this could be either repaired or maybe dressed out. This didn't put me off as I have had this sort of minor damage repaired on previous restorations to excellent effect. Seat base is in excellent condition but would really benefit from a UK style foam and cover.  could do with a paint job as well!!I have the original USA title paper and NOVA letter to show taxes are paid and the motorcycle already sits on the system. Registration is an easy process . ill show you how to do it. I have done lots and when your confident how to do it buying bikes from USA will result in more bike for your money.
