1980 KAWASAKI Z750e Classic bike to use, restore or great cafe racer project

Hello. This is my brother in law's bike. He is selling due to getting divorced and needing the money. The bike is tested until 16th May 2015 and on SORN. He has had quite a lot of work done to the bike to make it the reliable classic Kawasaki that it is. this includes:Fuel tank cleaned out and coater with Flowliner to prevent it from rusting. Carbs cleaned out and ballancedNew fork seals and oil replaced. The forks do have some pitting but this is above where the seals glide so wont rip them. gear selector shaft oil seals replaced. Oil (Silkoline) and filter replacedNew Speedo and Rev counter cables. New Avon Road Rider tyres and valves. Fuel tap seal kit fitted. Genuine parts kit. Front brake overhaul with EBC pads fitted. Genuine parts master cylinder seal kit used. New chain and sprockets fitted. The plan was to sort the bike mechanically then move on the the cosmetics. As you can see from the photo's He has only got as far as the mechanical part. While the bike isn't a complete mess. there are signs of rust on some of the chromeand the alloy could do with being polished up again. there is paint flaking off the wheels and the paint on the tank isn't the best.  In summary. The bike is a great classic that runs and starts reliably. I rode it to the test station and back so can vouch for that.  I personally would use it as it is. but it would benefit from some TLC in the cosmetics department.  Have a good look at the photo's and make your own mind up.
