1978 Kawasaki Z650 US Import, Clean Barn Find For Restoration, V5C, No Reserve

Another classic Japanese machine that I have unearthed from the back of my friends barn.  This is the US version of the Z650 Classic and was imported in 1996. it was taken off the road in 2000 after someone tampered with the ignition. it was running at the time and in the meantime stored well so should only need light recommissioning. The engine turns over nicely on the kick starter. there is no battery connected. the original exhaust has been replaced with a 4 into 1 Harris exhaust and it 36. 44 miles on the clock. I have nothing to back it up. The seat cover is tatty at the base but certainly salvageable and there appears to be a sissy bar missing at the back. The bodywork is clean and the paint and chrome is presentable although if you look on the left hand side of the tank there is a dent. visible in the photos. It rolls nicely and the tyres although old look good and the brakes are free. The bike is in Faversham in Kent and I encourage viewing to make sure it is what you want. Remember it is a non runner being sold strictly for spares. repair or restoration. you'll not be able to ride it away so please bring a trailer or a van. The bike comes with a key and a V5.
