 ZXR750 J1 1992 Kawasaki.

As you can see from the pictures it?ˆ™s not original but I do have all original parts (screen. rear plastic undertray and Micron can and more) I recently bought a new bike and was going to keep the ZXR but it seems a shame not to let someone else enjoy it.

I?ˆ™ve had the 5 yrs. . I completely stripped and rebuilt the bike a few  years ago. it?ˆ™s been an ongoing project for me and an enjoyable one! I?ˆ™ve spent thousands (approx. £4000) on the bike over the years.  I have loads of receipts totalling £1300 just on bits.  I could list all but if you want me to go through them please call me and I will. I have loads of photos of changes to the bike from over the years. anyway more about the bike; it has approx. 48. 00miles on the clock. No Tax or MOT. The rear tyre has some life left. front pretty good (Michelin).  All brakes new a few years ago including piston calliper seals etc. All suspension links replaced. new clutch including new green braded hose. braded brake lines and new brake fluid. Serviced and carbs balanced every year. suspension set up last year. Mini brake levers. LED indicators. GlassMat battery (new last year can be mounted any orientation. acid free!) Swing arm main pin and bearings replaced with genuine Kawasaki parts. Black screen and gold link chain in excellent condition. adjustable wide foot pegs.

The engine is original and has only done just over 2. 00 mile per year since new. serviced every year I?ˆ™ve had it and loads of old receipts. High grade spark plugs. new carb inlet rubber mounts. carbs balanced every year. runs really nice.

The bike?ˆ™s been  a real head turner at the IOM TT for the past 4 yrs and has never missed a beat. it has the usual Kawasaki rattle when cold but is a smooth as it can be when warm. it?ˆ™s been garaged most of the time apart from when away on trips. It has taught me a lot on how to ride bikes and given me miles and miles of pleasure.

It?ˆ™s been parked for the past year; I?ˆ™ve started it once a month.

BAD BITS: Not many. some niggling bits I didn?ˆ™t get finished but wouldn?ˆ™t cost or take too long to sort out.

1. The indicators are a bit lazy but light up nice. Maybe needs a stronger alternator£ I?ˆ™m not electrically gifted!

2. Needs a bit of a tidy under rear seat. Good wiring but needs a tidy.

3. Rear tyre will need replacing soon but is still legal. was a bit square after motorway drive.

4. The fairing is solid and has had a few repairs. it is 22 year old!!

5. A few small chips on the rear wheel rim.
