Rare Kawasaki H2C. Matching frame/engine numbers. Manufactured December 1974. 1975 model year. Last run/used in 2002. from a California collection. Please study pictures carefully. and email any questions. Original USA Title document and NOVA form present. The paintwork is great. but if you want it back to "candy super red" or "candy purple". there are several good bike painters who can re-paint with original decals for under £400. This bike once belonged to Rick "boots" Langley. [bootstriples. com]. who is a respected California Kawasaki triple guru. I have contacted him. and he has confirmed that he completely rebuilt the bike in 2000. and took it to many bike shows. It was one of his favourite bikes. Here is his description of some of the work done. DANG! That's a stout bike. No wonder I remember it as running well. It started as a nice complete bike that I stripped out and went through. It was one of only a few "Gentleman's Express" version I built. You own one of my cherished "Gentleman's Express". Hope you enjoy it. Considering the rarity. and the fact you really can and should at some time. double your money. a good deal. with (I hope) a good provenance. If you ever come to San Diego. I'll buy you a beer. mate. Hey. wait a minute. maybe that beer should be on you?!?!?!? :-) Damon Kirkland was THE triple crank builder in this country. Wiseco pistons. Stock carbs w/ K&N's. Kirkland crank. Bead blasted motor and polished cases. Bridgestone "Dual Compound" tires. NOS Boge-Mullholland Shocks. Moderate rise. stock type handlebar. Paint is 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse Pearl Silver w/72 H2 stripes w/ darker blue to match the colors better. I'm sure I must have reshimmed the trans and made sure it had good shift forks. Your bike. with it's stock carbs. can get 35+mpg. if you can stay below 5000rpm. Who said a triple can't "Tour"? OK. put a 16T countershaft sprocket on it. And carry x2 Master Link chain bits/extra master links/safety wire and a 15T sprocket for "Sport Riding". Use 98-102 USA octane fuel (NOT 91 PUMP GAS). B10H NGK plugs (1 step colder than stock) and you'll have the bad boy of the day. I built it to be. Central England near J20/21 of M1.
