THE BEST AND CHEAPEST Gen2 ZZR1400 E- BAY?

Only 6300 miles.

Ok. first things first. let?ˆ™s get the one bad thing out of the way. This bike is registered as Cat D. I bought this bike last September as an ugly duckling. There was absolutely no serious damage. no structural damage. just a few broken panels. I slowly turned it into the beautiful swan you see in the pictures. In the process of changing the damaged panels ect. I got carried away and replaced all manner of things with carbon fibre and other juicy extras.

Due to impending divorce and this Governments insistence that I lose my current employment status. my beautiful baby has to go!

The sharp eyed among you will know that the ZZR1400 does not come standard with the wealth of carbon fibre that this has. Nor does the UK model come with the black and green fins which I ordered especially from America. It does mean of course. you won?ˆ™t have to go to the expense of purchasing the bling. so someone will get a beautiful machine.

Most of the other used bikes on E-Bay have had all the extras removed to sell separately. I never do that. I always sell the bike with the parts on. Apart from the Garmin sat nav holder (which I need!) the bike will be sold with all the extras you see in the pictures. The extras that you usually end up spending a fortune buying afterwards.

The bike is also registered with DATATAG. I have the forms if you want to transfer.  

This bike is practically immaculate. You won?ˆ™t find a mark on it apart from one. The Motografix nose protector does hide one blemish on the nose (see last picture). Literally on the bikes maiden voyage. with all totally new. gleaming panels. a car backed into the nose and scraped it approx. 50 x 18mm. How pleased was I! Instead of going through the whole replacement thing again I just put the motografix over it. I actually think it looks pretty good. Goes really well with the American black and green grills. You can hardly see it. but I need to be honest.

The only other thing I can think of. I replaced the existing standard front discs with cheaper gold coloured Chinese ones. Nothing wrong with the originals (which I sold on e-bay doh!). I just wanted the gold colour. I have just completed a 2000 mile trip to Bavaria and you guessed it. the discs have slightly warped. You can feel a slight judder when you brake. It?ˆ™s perfectly ok. the brakes are awesome and the ABS works fine. it?ˆ™s just the common ZZR brake warp has hit (and ok maybe I shouldn?ˆ™t have bought Chinese). Oh. and one of the lenses has a couple of minute scratches (but that's just normal stone chips)

The purchase price of the bike does reflect the Cat D and the discs. and hey. all those extras. just try totting that little lot up :))

Other Items to Note

   Bike comes with full service history to date.      Hard Copy Workshop Manual (very handy)      All Keys    Registration Log Book.     All Receipts  Some original parts. footpegs. levers. exhausts (although the original exhausts are slightly scratched)

Whilst this bike draws attention where ever it goes (and it really does!!) I would strongly urge you to view the bike if interested or call me with any questions you have. rather than maybe have it delivered (at your cost!) and then ask questions.

The bike is situated near Stansted Airport just off the M11 Junction 8
