The motor is fresh and has less than 200 miles on it since the rebuild. The bike has been ridden hard and put away wet. She has been kicked and often times choked. This is love though and not abuse. New front tire. Almost new Dunlop on the back. The chrome on the chain guard is hanging tough and starting to fade gracefully with no peeling or pitting. The fork tube inners' are new as is the seat. The miles on this gauge are correct. The motor was left to sit for years and there fore the previous owner had all the seals redone. Look at the paint job on the frame. The tins as well. The tins have been done in a "FACTORY REPLACEMENT" color and scheme although the peacock "gray" is closer to a candy black with the gray visible when you walk around the bike and view it from different angles. Here is the path to the triples resource for paint scheme references --tripleswayne@aim. com. write to me there and i will send to you the url ebay will not let me post directing you to the factory paint schemes. The front and rear wheel are in no way perfect specimens cosmetically But you have to look close to find flaws. The oil pump cover has a small half inch hair line crack at the very bottom of it and i will try to show it in the photos. There is a small ding in the front fender but it is hard to show in the pics. I'm just trying to do full disclosure regarding the bike. It is beautiful and i will let you judge for yourselves. There are areas of nicks and scratches but no rusting through garbage and no peeling of chrome exists here. The front and rear hubs have been media blasted with aluminum oxide. lear coated to stay with factory originality and then the wheels were re-laced with stainless steel spokes. The front brake cable is a new after market. The speedometer and tachometer function as they should as does the ignition and all other switches. The tachometer fogs up with a change of temperature but looks great as does the speedometer and works fine and clears up when the sun hits it. The front and rear brake shoes are new. Vesrah brand. The front brake linkage is painted but it is straight and adjusted fine. a perfectionist can spend a pile of dough on any project. This bike is good to go ride and enjoy. The handle bars are new. If you note the clamps on the stock air box rubber boot assembly you will please note that i have improvised with my outer clamps only. The inner clamps on the three piece boot are the Kawasaki clamps. The riser bolts and the fork ear bolts are stainless steel bolts as opposed to the factory zinc plated bolts. They are a nice off-set with the like new headlight bucket. Every picture tells a story. Thank you all for taking the time to look at this bike.
