* 'Wet' photos taken 09/10/14 and 'dry' photos added 10/10/14 as the weather kindly granted me 30mins without a rain shower. This is my 2012 Kawasaki er6n relisted thanks to a timewaster/fraudster trying his luck. Cheers!.
It was purchased by me in November 2012 from Pegasus Kawasaki Reading. It was a pre-registered model with 100 miles on the clock. It has a full service history having been serviced 4 times in just under 2 years. It has just been serviced (1/10/14) and a new front tyre (Bridgestone T30) fitted. It also had a new AFAM chain and sprockets fitted. The rear tyre was at ther serive in May this year and still has many miles left in it. It's a Bridgestone T30 too matching the front.
As some people have asked. the replacement sprockets are exactly the same tooth number as the bike is supplied with. there has been no change to the gearing of the bike.
As part of the service the callipers front and rear were stripped and the pistons and pins cleaned and greased. It has been used regularly though not for commuting as I am lucky to live within a mile of my office. The majority of miles have been motorway both UK and a couple of thousand in Europe (France - Italy) as some or my family have moved out there recently. Not been ridden hard as the naked style limits you naturally on motorways and in the corners I have no urge to get my knee down being mature in age and in attitude (in my opinion of course. )Its seen two winters but ridden less in both and weather protected with ACF30 which I hope shows through in the photos. Modifications - it has only had a new Ixil exhaust as pictured (original Kawasaki one included in the sale) I love the sound and look of it and the baffles are included if you don't like seeing toddlers cover their ears when you ride past them! It also has the bobbins for a rear paddock stand. Negatives - the rear grab handles paint has suffered slightly from me securing luggage to the pillion seat. the front mudguard has a scratch on it thanks to some builders on the second day I had it grrrr. There are some scuff marks from my boots where you might expect around the pegs. The mileage is 12202 though this may increase slightly as I use the bike occasionally. VED is to December though if I understand the new rules correctly thats less relevant these days as the new owner always has to tax a vehicle when purchased. I have of course got the service book. all service receipts. both keys and the manual.
I am selling as after two years with this bike I would like to broaden my biking experience. Most of my biker friends seem to change theirs every six months so I feel well overdue for something different! I will consider sensible offers but as I really like this bike and having just spent hefty amount on it (£490) I would rather keep it than accept 'silly' offers.
I think I have covered everything but if you have any questions please ask and I will get back to you asap. Viewings are welcome if you can get to the SL6 area. Cash on collection only please and I will not deliver to West Africa for a photocopied bankers draft - yes somebody did actually ask that.
It is advertised elsewhere so reserve the right to end the listing early if it sells there. Thanks for looking.
