Kawasaki zx6r j1 ninja 2001X 600cc

Here for sale is my early 2001 Kawasaki ZX6R J1. in green. The bike had been off the road for a year prior to my ownership. Upon purchase I replaced the oil + filter. spark plugs. air filter and front brake pads with receipts to prove. The front calipers were also replaced with bandit 1200 Nissin 4-pots as the 6-pots don't take well to being left stood. These are an upgrade fitted to many Kawasaki's and Suzuki's of all ages.  I also fitted a brand new battery which I will include the receipt if I can find it. The bike was fitted with cheap mini indicators which I replaced with better ones off another bike. not original but better than what was fitted. Both front and rear wheels were professionally resprayed and the chain was also replaced (no receipt - lost with the battery receipt) I also had the carbs balanced. and cut down the yoshimura end can as it had a scrape 5 inches long at its front end. Bodywork is reasonable for 13 years old. a few minor scrapes but nothing I couldn't live with. Frame has a few chips to the champagne finish and a slight blistering on the swingarm. I haven't done anything about these blemishes as I just wanted to concentrate on riding it. It passed mot first time with no advisories and has performed faultlessly since. The tyres have a good amount of tread remaining. In my opinion this bike is right in the middle of what could be expected of an . lmost 14 year old. zx6r. It could be brought back to a very good standard with a little elbow grease. run through the winter as a second bike. taken to the track or just simply enjoyed as it is.

I have listed this with a buy it now price based on recent values of similar zx6r's. nbsp;and I've taken the low season into account. I will consider any sensible offers. and viewing can be arranged.
