Kawasaki VN800 Classic - 1999 - Stunning, Genuine Bike

She's for Sale. Boooo Hooooo My Kawasaki VN800 Please note. after 3 hours I've had offers in excess of £1. 00 I want to sell quickly as I've seen a bike I like. Youtube Walk round - http://youtu. be/C9Nz98Q44d0 Been caught out in the rain twice since i've had her and whilst not being used. sits very proudly in my conservatory. nice. warm and dry So. why am i selling my beloved bike? Well. the lad is growing and we really need a tourer to take us away for the weekend. something with luggage etc. The Good Bits: Everything. she's as sweet as can be. very loud. very proud. very reliable and a show stopper. She has a metallic flake paint that is stunning in the sun and a joy to polish NO rust on the wheels. chrome is perfect. engine is spotless and the paint. to my knowledge is both scratch and blemish free. She has chrome trailing arms too and when polished Looks the business. Been used in many photo shoots and always turns heads. The Bad Bits: Well. i have to say goodbye to her but other than that. she's great. the only niggles i have are tiny and reflected in the price. these are a spot of rust on the mirrors (these were aftermarket and are as cheap as chips) and her forks seems to have the odd blemish. i've tried to polish them out but as being a relative newbie myself. didn't want to do more harm than good. The Noise: Well. the exhaust is baffled. has gone through the MOT with only a "Hell fire. people hear you coming" comment. Loud and very proud. Seats - I have two. i have the original double and a single leather with snake skin detail. Tyres - Great. no problem Engine - Bullet proof. spot on and starts every time thanks to the new battery last year Service - She's a good service record. two months ago with fresh oil. oil filter and air filter Mods - Well. aside from the paint. i've put exhaust wrap around the pipes to cover mainly a melded part of my trousers that got a touch too close. and to stop it burning the boy if he accidentally touched it. It does indeed have a melted sole off his shoe but i'm not charging extra for that and given a little attention. the burn on the covered chrome would come off and give more bling. So. heres the deal. the price is the price. if you want more photos please ask. NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE. we also don't want the wink and nod guys / gals too. this is a very much loved genuine bike that we will be gutted to see go.
