Description

Kawasaki ZXR750/900 ProjectReluctantly due to a company owing me a large sum of money and still outstanding I am selling one of my own projects so I know the full history of what is good and bad on it. This is a 750J2 converted to a 900 with the ZXR9B1 Engine in it. Good Points:1) Already done most of the work to convert but will need a few bits to finish of which I will list further down. 2) 900 Engine has only done 18. 00 miles and runs with a bit of easy start down the carbs (Will explain further down why)3) Tyres are good4) Tank is solid5) MOT only recently ran out but have not put any miles on it since the last one 6) Comes with D&D Full race system on it 7) Has custom billet top yoke on it with risers not a cheap version bought and converted etc. Bad Points:1) Will need a rear lower engine bolt for it that fits a J2 etc not the H models as its too thin. 2) Will need a headlight but do have the original lights that will go with it should you want to put back to standard3) The carbs on the bike are the B1 from the 900 which work but its alot of fiddling around to mate with the airbox hence the pain starting it so my suggestion is to sell the carbs and get another set for the J2 so that the standard airbox fits and it will run without messing about4) Will need the ignition bolting to the yokes but it is a new ignition as the old one was temperamental and has a couple of keys with it. 5) Will need a headlight although I do have a streetfighter light it may not be to everyones taste but happy to let it go with the bike if it helps the owner. 6) Will need headlight brackets for upside down forks or a standard bracket if your trying to put it back to standard. 7) Tatty paint as still the original paint I will break the bike if no sensible offers as to be honest I am not willing to let it go for a round of drinks nor will I be very pleasant if your a tyre kicker as not in the mood to sell it in the first place. You will need a van or trailer to take it away but probably a day spent in the garage with it will have it running and all good.
