 **SORN GT550-G9 FOR SPARES OR REPAIR- PLEASE READ BELOW**No compression on cylinder #2. The bike will fire up. but does not run on all four pots. This came to light as the bike would run out of fuel with fuel tap in "on" position. but would start up again and run when fuel tap set to "pri"The petrol tap operation relies on a vacuum from the #2 carburettor. but as there was no compression on cylinder #2. the fuel tap diaphragm remained shut. Compression on other three cylinders ranges from 130-150 psiValve clearances appear OK according to Haynes manual procedure. but in any case the cylinder head will have to come off for a closer inspection. A bit of money spent last year- new front discs & battery as shown in photos. Looks better in the photos than it actually is! Paintwork is quite tatty. Unable to confirm mileage.
