Kawasaki gpz 900r zx900 900 Ninja

For sale due to illness. My beautiful and increasingly rare 1984 First Generation GPz900r. The bike that rewrote the Superbike rules like the Fireblade & R1 after it. This bike heralded a monumental shift in power. speed & technology in 1984. and as such. the 900 Ninja truly deserves its place in motorcycling history as a collectable icon. My bike has had 3 previous owners. I have receipts for previous work done. such as carb rebuilds. re jets. servicing. etc. When i purchased her earlier this year i replaced the fork seals. fork oil. dust seals. i refurbed the Anti-dive units and replaced the Reg/rec. flushed & replaced the coolant with a 50/50 mix to cope with the SoCal heat. i also renewed all the seals in the water pump as water pumps leaking either water/oil is a common fault on these bikes of this age. all parts coming from the GPz Zone in the UK. Im Scottish by the way. and when i owned all my previous GPz bikes in the UK i always got my parts from the GPz zone.  She has 21000 miles on her. i verified this by contacting the previous owners using the paperwork i got with the bike. She has the original original toolkit under the seat. full original exhaust system. in fact. she is completely original apart from the 4 Uni Pod air filters. These give a gorgeous induction roar when you open up the taps. The only negative points to mention is a scuff on the R/H/S silencer and a small dent on the tank. these can be seen in the pictures. Both minor points. But i want to be as truthful as possible. This bike is a genuine survivor. an everyday usable bike. in well above average condition as can be seen in the pictures. not a garage queen.  The bike starts off the choke. idles as it should once warm. no engine rattles or leaks. no burning oil. runs smoothly. shifts easily up and down the gearbox with plenty of power as it should.  A Haynes manual & a Kawasaki factory manual will be included in the sale for the new owner to keep this old girl in tip top condition.
