KAWASAKI GPZ600r FOR SPARES REPAIR RUNNING BIKE & MOT`D TO 11-8-15 Please note the photos make some parts of the bike look better cosmetically than it really is. There are 3 cracks in the main top fairing around the two front indicators and the right hand side of the screen. (not the screen its self) The fairing is still solid at these three points but I wanted to mention them. I have owned this bike since April 2004. I have all Mot`s since March 2000 This bike came into the UK in 1999. When I bought it the bike was on a Q plate and I rode it until 2009 and then I applied to change the registration plate for the correct year 1986 of Manufacture. Since the Bike has been on a (C) Plate. I have all the paperwork. The Speedo has always been in Miles as well. March 2000 was (13761) and now 23678 Miles a bit more than the photo as I have used it this recently. I think the main difference to a UK bike is that it runs with the headlights on at all times and has hazard waning lights . All lights work. It is now just been Sorned. The bike has a very good battery and starts up easy. but makes a noise and chatters when cold. (Most of these Models seems to be like this) When it?ˆ™s started it sometimes fire on 3 cylinders When it is really warm it goes really well. 3 weeks ago we went on a 180 mile day trip with the Club with no trouble. I have other bikes and I use this one as my. Get on and ride bike. its ideal for that. The tyres I bought New as a pair. they have loads of tread. Chain. Sprockets. Discs. brakes and fork seals are fine and in good order. The wheels were powder coated a Silver colour. The Exhaust is all stainless from front to rear. in good condition. Engine has low miles for the year. Oh and part of the frame to the side of the bike has been hammerited a while back. It blends in actually. There is no problem with the gear selection at all. The reason I have offered the bike for Spares is because of the cold running thing. but I do know that it could easily be rectified by a good person who knows what he is doing. The Carbs are all clean inside. adjustment might be needed. But I enjoyed riding as is. These bikes are getting rarer all the time and this one is all there and could be restored by someone. I have had over 10 years riding this bike and have had good use out of it. Its better now than when I bought it. Come and have a look if you want. just make arrangements.
