Kawasaki KLR250-D5 Enduro/Commuter. Full MOT/V5 (DRZ400/DR350/KTM EXC/Honda XR).

Owned by me for 18 months and full V5 in my name. Registered at my home address where you will view it. Only selling as I simply don't use it. I originally intended to use it for Green Lanes but I doubt I could bring myself to submerge it in mud and drop it into rivers. as I did with my previous KLX 300 (she's getting on a bit now). I was also "gently pushed" into buying this bike due to 3 or 4 like minded friends who had enduro bikes at the time. who have since hung up their body armour. it's not much fun on your own anyway! Just sailed through MOT (daylight test but lights work). Good tyres. clutch/gearbox fine. recent battery and carb overhaul kit. Speedo. rev counter. temp gauge and neutral light all working. It genuinely starts very easily. HOT or COLD. unlike my previous KLX 300! The perfect bike if you happen to be "slightly on the short side". as I am (5ft 6"). Valve clearances set less than 50 miles ago and no nasty rattles or clunks from engine. Cooling fan works fine but stays on after key is removed so I've fitted a little in-line switch (looks crap but works fine). Original choke lever broke off but there is 8 inches of cable remaining that I simply pull out for 5 seconds when cold. This is an easy fix if you were fussy but it's fully functional. Genuinely rides extremely smoothly with no dramas and will easily and quickly exceed the motorway speed limit (on a dirt track of course)!Ideal for both light Green Lane and commuter use. Original rear tool bag and ignition key. I also have original indicators and a quite rare original owners manual. Will also come with a new Hi-Flo oil filter. Original UK bike. Not mint but not bad for her age at all and becoming rare now. especially with low mileage. I've a small paddock that you can fling it around or place an agreed amount of cash in my mit and you can take it for a test ride on the road but proof of insurance/licence required. I have nothing to hide. From a smoke and pet free home but if my cat ever took up the habit.
