This is an EXCELLENT condition 2009 Kawasaki KLX140L dirt bike. It is an air-cooled. 4-stroke. Single Overhead Cam dirt bike with a manual clutch 5-speed transmission. Kawasaki has really spiced up the midsize concentration of bikes with this sleek and edgy design that mimics their larger KX brethren.  

It all starts with it's 144cc 4-stroke engine with 2 valves. CDI ignition. and because it's a Kawasaki. you know it's as reliable as it can get. This combination produces the kind of torque and a broad power band that's been tuned for maximum off-road performance and it ensures a crisp. dependable throttle response perfect for a very wide range of riders.  

Every kid or young adult gets started with motorcycles at some point in their lives. As part of their legendary tradition of producing bikes of all shapes and sizes. Kawasaki has the ideal bike for the advanced riders looking for more performance and a more full-sized feel without stepping up to an unforgiving 250 or 450. This bike is amazingly nimble and delivers comfortable power that's perfect for discovering the fun and freedom in off-road riding. Easily ridden with a simple. yet edgy design. the KLX140L is the kind of bike that can introduce any novice in the world of off-road bikes.

The KLX140L features a rigid high-tensile steel frame design that gives the bike a long enough wheelbase to accommodate bigger riders while also maintaining quick and agile handling. A 33mm telescopic set of front forks offer the rider 7. 1" of travel and the rear also offers 7. 1" of travel through a piggy-back reservoir and 22-way rebound adjustable shock. The bike has a 19" front wheel and a 16" rear wheel which offers great handling while also providing the kind of ergonomics needed for larger riders or for more advanced younger riders.  

If your reading this. then that probably means your familiar with Kawasaki's legendary reputation for building some of the best dirt bikes. We get to work on all major manufacturers and the simple truth is that Kawasaki really does know how to make a top notch machine. They'll last forever with simple maintenance.

Condition:

This machine is in AMAZING condition. It does not have any kind of odometer or hour meter on it. so we cannot tell you how many miles or hours it has on it. What we can say is that this is a VERY clean machine that has been well maintained and looked after. If this bike has more then 3 or 4 hours on it. we'd be shocked.  

The engine is perfect and fires immediately. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses. noises. leaks. or smoke.  

The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged. bent. or broken.  

The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play.  

The wheels are in nice shape and the tires have plenty of tread left.  

The plastics are in excellent shape with zero cracks or broken panels. There really isn't even noticeable scratches. We see a lot of machines throughout the year and this is one of the cleanest bikes we've seen. This is a very nice and clean. well cared after machine. Anyone who buys it will be getting a great bike that will last them for a very long time.

Everything on it functions exactly as it should.

However. we are not a wholesaler and we do have to charge sales tax the same as if you are a retail customer. If you are a licensed powersports dealer that's one thing. otherwise we will have to charge sales tax as outlined below. Please keep this in mind when considering placing bids on our items. If you have any questions or concerns about whether or not you should or shouldn't have to pay sales tax. PLEASE call us before bidding.

Overall this is a very nice bike that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details. nbsp;We are MLS Powersports. located in Georgetown. Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75. 15 miles North of Lexington. KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati. OH.  Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person. but we will also accept a certified check. or bank to bank wire transfer.  It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements.  If you pick this bike up in person. we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this bike in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax. (Except in West Virginia) We do this all the time. do not worry. you will not have to pay sales tax twice.

If you have it delivered to you. anywhere outside of Kentucky. you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use.

If we ship. it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal. but it is used and sells as-is.
