1998 kawasaki zxr 400

Up for sale is my much loved 1998 zxr 400. it was my first big bike and i have loved every minute of it but i am now ready for a 600. The bike is in good condition it starts and rides as it should and has always been maintained to a high standard. It had new tyres chain and sprockets fitted in June that have done around 2000 miles so still loads of life in them and it has had a new cam chain. alve clearance check. arbs balanced. teering head bearings. early ever gasket replaced. fuel filter and oil and filter change all about 300 miles ago. it has MOT till June 2015 and taxed till may but don't think the tax comes with it because of the new law. The bike is generally in very good condition for its age apart from some age related marks on most the fairings. ts had some repairs to the front fairing but did not show up on photos and the scratches on the right fairing where i had a low speed off while learning to get my knee down. None of it looks too bad as it is not that noticeable im just been honest. t still gets lots of attention at bike meets. Mechanically its all spot on and rides very well. ts very fast for a 400 and keeps up with most 600 through the bendy's. it makes an excellent first bike because it handel's so well. The mileage is 59700 km which is around 37095 miles which might go up slightly as still in use. I will be sad to see it go as it is so much fun and ive put alot of time and money into the bike. if i could afford two bikes i would not sell it but unfortunately i cant. The bike comes with a spare brand new set of fairings that i never fitted because i preferred the originals. nd the original indicators. creen and pillion foot rests.
