Description

1986 Kawasaki GPz 750 E1 Turbo rolling chassis with V5c (in my name) with GSX-R600 front and rear ends. Unfortunately. I can't claim to have engineered this brilliant turbo rolling chassis.  It was created by a modest and talented precision engineer in order to make a classic Kawasaki 750 turbo a safer and better ride. with up to the minute modern size rubber. much lighter wheels and real world brakes and suspension.  It's also a little different from the standard turbo but not too outlandish or overblown as to spoil the iconic 750turbo 'Darth Vador' original looks. The 750turbo frame has been properly striped back and beautifully finished in Epoxy 2 pack painted satin black. the same with the gsxr swinging arm.  The gsxr wheels look immaculate and the finish is so good that I'm unsure if they have been restored or were in a new condition when fitted.  The gsxr forks are also in fantastic condition and in order to give the correct ride height. a pair of lovely alloy triple clamps have been machined and fitted. They have been carefully designed and made to ensure the original steering movement 'lock to lock' and clearances are retained. the turbo front fairing frame therefore fitting perfectly. The rear gsxr swinging arm and 180 wheel assy has been machined to fit the chassis and again. the original ride height is kept by a pair of specially made suspension 'dog bone' links running with a quality White Power (WP) rear shock. A complete 750turbo wiring loom has been renovated and re-wound with self amalgamating loom tape and is routed in place on the frame. along with the turbo fuse box assembly. battery box and rectifier. Both front and the rear discs are virtually new and both 4-pot Tokico front callipers are in fantastic condition.  Hel front brake lines are also fitted.  The tyres fitted were brand new and are still unused Maxxis 180/55 17 rear and 120/70 17 front.  The rear drive sprocket looks to be new but there are no sprocket carrier cush rubbers present in the hub or rear brake calliper but these two items would be very easy to source. This would be an easy. achievable and fun project for someone with time and a donor bike or a stash of turbo parts. It would be great to think the project would be finished and put on the road.  Most of the hard and time consuming work is done and it's just a question of how nice the new owner wants to make it when the engine and body parts are put back.

The chassis is located at my home near Bantry in West Cork. Eire (Southern Ireland). Pick-up in person (coffee and biscuits included) or I will gladly assist your courier with collection.

Deposit of ??150 within 24 hours of auction end please and full payment within 3 days.  After payment in full (paypal or bank transfer). I would be willing to wait for collection for a reasonable amount of time. as we live in the wilds of West Cork.  Also. standard procedure please - the chassis won't be released until all funds are cleared.

Thanks for looking and please feel free to contact me for more info and photo's.  I'm really sad to see this project go. family life and other commitments have continually been in the way of this project and most of my turbo donor spares are now sold. Now the wife wants a caravan - what a humiliating end. PLEASE NOTE: Postage is marked at a cost of ??0. 01 - clearly this is not the case. I had to enter a value in this field in order to complete the listing for some unknown reason that nearly made me go mad trying to get it sorted.
