It has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 7427 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is virtually complete missing just a side panel badge but has been painted in a non standard colour. The bike has obviously stood a while so the battery is flat & seat cover is torn. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims. good hubs. brake plate. disc. caliper & working master cylinder. Forks & yokes are straight with good chrome. Mudguard is solid & very tidy. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Fuel tank. side panels & tail piece are solid & tank isuseably clean inside ?ˆ“ All crying out for fresh paint. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhausts are original. solid & presentable throughout. Seat base is in very good condition throughout. The engine is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter ?ˆ“ sounds/feels great & has compression ?ˆ“ When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel/oil it starts & runs but the carbs do need cleaning.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. Phone Kawasaki UKs customer services on 01628 856643 with the frame & engine Numbers. /p>

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ??55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
