ZZR 600 winter, commuter, project, fully working, 7 months MOT @BARGAIN@

Welcome to the sale of my ZZR 600This bike is fully working and ready to clock some more miles. It has just had a new rear wheel bearing. sprocket carrier barring and Maxxis Supermaxx tyres fitted rear- new front- 2000 miles roughly. The tyres are barely scrubbed in as due to moving house and now having a work van the bike simple hasnt been used since fitting. The bike is in rideable condition by which I mean the bike is (to my knowledge) in great working order but is not a looker. The previous owner painted the bike. by hand. some of this paint in now flacking. bubbling and peeling on the plastics. There is also a little surface rust on the top of the tank but this is very faint (shown in the photos) and has just started so could easily be treated. There is also 6 small holes in the rear seat where a top box was bolted on. The bike was also "modified" by the previous owner. It has tail fairing and rear lights off a much newer bike possible a ZX6R  but I arent sure. This is mounted over the origonal tail frame so no issues with strength or structural work. The forks have been upgraded to modern springs and oil. The front calipers have been swapped for brakes off a CBR900 which are much more powerful than the origonals so she pulls up well. The old girl starts and rides as she should but is by no means a new bike. She is tatty and likes to warm up for a bit if she isnt riden for a while. It would make a good winter bike for someone. a good project base or winter fix up. Mot'd till may. No tax with new tax rules but otherwise could be riden. I am realistic about what she is worth so the starting price is my minimum price. If it doesnt go I will happily do something with her myself.
