In 2011 Kawasaki put out it's 4th generation version of the Ninja ZX-10R. And it felt. operated. and handled a generation better than Kawi's 3rd installment.

I'm not ripping on the 3rd generation ZX-10R. how could I? It's a brilliant machine. makes a ton of power. and is a bullet with a suspesnion. that with a few tweeks. provides fantastic handling. But the 4th generation. things were different. Things changed; for the better.

From it's higher compression ratio to it's updated suspension that turns it from a fantastic bike to a complete space ship ready to tackle just about anything right out of the box. the 4th Generation ZX-10R has taken the limits and pushed them even further out of reach for the competition. Kawasaki's own brew of ABS and traction control. which might I add is incredible. more incredible than other ABS products out there on the market. provides 3 levels of safety as well as being off. Level 3. providing the most traction control. will keep you safe. If the road is wet. I encourage this. Level 2 is right in the middle. interfering to make sure you don't stand it up. but you can still have fun. Level 1 will provide you a wheelie. but keep you alive. more or less. Or you can turn it off. Completely off.

It also has three power modes. High. Low. and Medium. which again. allows you your own preference to choose from as well as gain the ability to learn up to full power should you hop off a 600cc and want to step your game up.

The Gen 4 ZX-10 is a bad machine. in the same way that Samuel L. Jackson is a bad. you get what I'm saying.

With nearly every motorcycle journalist listing the ZX-10R as one of the best super sports out there and easily the one with the best traction control and ABS system. it's hard to see why you could pass on this.

This ZX-10R is a used unit and does show very small signs of being used. such as tiny rock nicks towards the bottom of the unit and a little dirt here and there. For some reason the sprocket cover is missing. however that can be replaced. The paint is glow in the dark as you can see from pictures. The front Showa shocks have both compression and rebound damping adjustability as well as pre-load setting.

 This motorcycle is one heck of a machine. Idles a bit odd. but could be due to it not being run for a while.
