KAWASAKI Z1 1973 900

Here's something you don't see very often. this is an early production bike built in 11/72 .   Vin # Z1F-03314  Engine # Z1E-03408 .   This is a numbers matching bike.  

The gas tank. side covers and tail fin are original and have been professionally painted using the same 3 step process the same way they were painted from the factory.   The color matches the original beautifully.   The seat is original. has the black foam.  rear grab bar is also original.

Engine runs fine. shifts through all of the gears smoothly. does not smoke or use any oil.   All of the electrical functions work properly. It does have the original tool kit including the feeler gauge. the owners manual is original. it still retains the complete chain oiler system.

The chrome on the rims still shines nicely. the front rim does have some pitting. the rear rim has pitting and scratches on the side from years of tires being mounted (see pics) The right hand fork tube also has light pitting (see pictures) handlebars are nice. turn signals are original also show some patina.
