1982 Kawasaki KZ1000R ELR Eddie Lawson Replica Serial # 151 NO RESERVE

This is an all original (save for the grips)  1982 Kawasaki KZ1000R Eddie Lawson Replica (serial # 000151/Engine #KZT00JE033296 ). I purchased bike from original owner earlier this year . Originally purchased in Richardson Texas May 17. 1982. I even have the original dealer paper plate that will of course go with the sale. Bike had been stored since 1996.   All I have done is have tank professionally cleaned. perform a simple carb clean and install new plugs . As you can see in video she fires right up. The Kerker pipe with competition baffle will get your attention!  The head has obviously been painted but appears to have stock internals.   Spark plugs were pulled and stock pistons could be seen.   Until put away she was obviously ridden and enjoyed hence has her fair share of imperfections. The bodywork only has one tiny ding in tank and a scuff on fairing and although paint is good the clear coat has deteriorated in places (side covers and tail) and the tank decals have degraded. Seat cover will need to be repaired/replaced and  brakes will need some attention (rear master needs to be rebuilt and front brakes drag sometimes).   Only parts that are missing are the turn signals. Please take a look at all of the pics and the video; in them I have tried my best to point out these and any other flaws. This is an honest ELR survivor that can either be restored to former glory or have a few things repaired and be back on the road shortly.   I understand how nerve wracking it can be to buy a bike sight unseen; I will be happy to answer any questions and provide any additional pics if needed.
