1985 Kawasaki Eliminator ZL900-Rare

This 1985 Eliminator was owned by an older gentleman who couldn't ride it anymore and non-opped it seven years ago.   It sat in a barn until I got it. all dirty but in what seemed to be pretty good shape.   As I began cleaning it up. it just got better and better.   as you can see. it cleaned up beautifully.   After putting a new battery in it. going through the carbs and changing the oil and filter. it fire right up.   I removed the ridiculous air box and installed individual Moxi air filters.   I also removed about seven pounds of California vapor recovery crap and tossed it.   Then I installed breather filters for the engine and transmission.   The tires are new and all six brake pads are new.   All aluminum brackets and pieces were removed and polished out including the lower fork tubes.   All four turn signal lights are also new.   The fork seals and dust caps were replaced and filled with new fork oil.   I also installed new grips because one of the originals was torn.   The riding position is super comfortable and the bike is silky smooth with a firm feeling suspension and it sounds great too.   It has a few small dings on the front of the tank. otherwise it practically flawless.   Good luck!
