This survivor came out of a barn here in Colorado.

I bought this machine from the original owner.

He rode it until about 1982 then put it in the barn and forgot about it.

Everything original from what I can see. right down to the warranty booklet.

Matching Numbers machine.

I had planned on restoring it. and started by cleaning it up. but I have too many projects. so this one goes on the block.

Great restoration candidate as bike is original. but there but needs work.

Paint shows age and wear and has issues (see pics).  

Bike has patches and spots of rust on the body. chrome. frame. etc.  Various seals and rubber bits are cracked (like the fork dust covers).  Tires are from the 70s - will need replacing.  This is not a comprehensive list - again. please see pics.

I’ve tried to take plenty of pics so you will get a good idea of what kind of project this is.  

PLEASE EXAMINE ALL PHOTOGRAPHS CAREFULLY PRIOR TO BIDDING.

This girl needs some love. but as you likely know if you’re reading this. all original examples of H2s with the original pipes. etc. don’t come along too often.

Bike HAS A CLEAN TITLE. but NO KEY.  You can order one off ebay for about $30 (cut from key code). or some sellers sell NOS keys.

Engine kicks over freely. but is not currently running.   

Engine oil and fuel tank is drained. as is the front brake assembly which likely needs a rebuild.

Please also note that the stock airbox is included but the rubber manifold (the one with the three into one tubes) will not be.
